Spiritual Growth...

It has been said that the people who irritate us the most and whom we find the most challenging to be around are the ones who help us to grow spiritually. Much in the same way friction helps to smooth a rough surface. Sometimes friction can cause a hole or a fire. I suppose it depends on what type of material we're referring to, which we could draw the conclusion that in order to grow and learn from someone who rubs you the wrong way you must be receptive to the lesson. In most cases, I am not.

People are usually consistent at pissing me off. Instead of becoming more introspective and compassionate, I have thoughts of grasping the thickest part of hair on the back of their nappy head and slamming it into a rough surface to cause some friction of my own. This, I know, is not the appropriate course of action, but it makes me giggle inside and then I can walk away with a precise strategy on how I'm going to take them down if they should take me by surprise.

The force is strong in this one.

If these feelings persist DO NOT get a job at the Post Office.
